Site Prep with Dan // Volume 10

Since I was blogging daily for #LoveBlog in February, I skipped the link-up The Guys Behind the Blog. Dan is excited to answer a few questions again! This month, Betsy and Laura Jean have told us to come up with our own own questions! Plus I’ve added a few bonus questions for Blogger Men Tell All.

The man behind my blog answers a few questions for Site Prep with Dan! | Belle Brita

The Guys Behind the Blog

What’s the best part about being married to a blogger?

Her being at home every day when I get home from work. It’s also nice that she has a lot of flexibility to take vacation time when it’s convenient for me.

What’s the worst part about being married to a blogger?

Sometimes she’s really busy, and she has to stay up late blogging. I don’t like that. I have to snuggle stuffed animals instead of Brita.

Describe your perfect day. What do you do? Who do you see?

A perfect day is just one of those questions, that, like, how do you even approach that? There are so many things to do in the world, and so many people you can be with, that there’s not really a way to define a single 24-hour period in which to maximize your enjoyment. In order to answer the question, I will come up a mathematical logical answer, which is every human being on Earth, enjoying a day at a very large beach, in peace and in harmony, with beautiful weather… We’ll just kind of ignore the logistics of making that happen.

What are you eagerly anticipating this spring?

At the moment, the end of pollen season! I was looking forward to going home to visit family and our new nephew, but since that’s already happened, I don’t have to anticipate it anymore.

How are you handling all of the pollen?

I come out into the parking lot after work, and a part of me dies inside. Then I open the car door, and another part of me dies. Driving a convertible means that not only do you have pollen covering the outside of your car, but covering the inside of your car, and the inside of the inside of your car. That crap gets everywhere!

Blogger Men Tell All

Popcorn lover’s day is March 10! What’s your favorite popcorn flavor?

I just like plain old butter and maybe some salt on my popcorn. I don’t particularly enjoy the crazy things like cheese and caramel and all that jazz. And for the love of God, don’t put peanuts in it!

What is the farthest you’ve traveled?

The furthest point from where I currently live? The furthest point from where I was born? The longest single trip?

The longest single trip was after I graduated college. I went with my parents to visit my brother in Alaska. Including flying to Anchorage, and driving to Fairbanks, I would have to say that is the longest trip that I have ever taken.

Have you ever dyed your hair? If not, what color would you dye it?

No, and I would not dye my hair.

How are you doing on your New Year’s resolutions?

I did not make any New Year’s resolutions, so I think I’m doing well.

I love doing this series every month! Do you have any additional questions for Dan? He pops into the comment section occasionally. Comment below!
