I’m so excited to announce a project I’ve been working on for the last month. Or rather, an expansion of an existing project.
The F-Word has three exciting new changes!

Friday’s The F-Word
Friday’s The F-Word is no longer just a weekly newsletter. Starting today, it will also be a weekly blog post on feminism!
I know I haven’t written a Feminism 101 post since last October. I’ll be honest, after all the time and research I put into my post on intimate partner violence, I felt really burned out with the lack of comments and page views. It’s just hard to find the motivation to spend 12+ hours researching and writing an epic post if no one reads it.
But Feminism 101 will be back! I still have a long list of topics to cover.
I also plan to continue with Feminism FAQ. I have a few questions that my faithful readers have asked. I appreciate your patience as I start writing out the answers!
The F-Word Link-Up
I’m bringing back the blog link-up for The F-Word, in a new format. Instead of hosting a monthly blog link-up, I will have a permanent blog link-up! I’ve changed my navigation bar to feature The F-Word, so you can access the blog link-up whenever you want. Anytime you write a post on feminism, feel free to add it to the link-up. I’ve also attempted to go through all the past blog link-ups and add those to the new one. It’s basically an archive for feminist blog posts!
Friends of The F-Word
I’m opening up my blog to guest posts on feminism! I have one coming up in a few weeks and another one in June. If you’re interested in writing for Belle Brita, feel free to contact me!
Periodically I will also offer other opportunities for collaboration. I can’t wait to feature diverse opinions from my feminist friends!
Do you have a topic you’d like me to cover in Feminism 101? Do you have a specific question you want answered on feminism? Give me your requests!

Thank you so much for opening this up and leaving it open, Brita! This is amazing — I have had a really hard time looking for other linkups in my niche. I’m really excited to be able to find other blogs too! 😀 *happy dance*
You’re welcome! I still have more links to add. I’ve been going through all the old link-ups and adding each link, but that’s a slow, manual process. I’m just glad I found a way to revive the old link-up. The monthly format wasn’t working anymore, and it was a lot of work for me to keep doing it. I’ve seen this format on another blog for faith-related topics, and I still occasionally get traffic from it.
This is an awesome idea and I’m excited to follow along.
Yay! I hope you’ll join our Facebook group too. 🙂
This is awesome! I’d be interested in a post about being a female presence on the internet. One of the things that I find myself worrying about the most with starting my blog is knowing that eventually if I do make myself fairly well known I will be opening myself up for harassment just because of my gender online. I’d love to read stories about how other women have handled this issue. I’m so excited to read some more!
